I like Sam Adams’ porch rocker better than Leinie’s summer shandy. This has been your lemonade beer post. Thank you.

Got roped into agreeing to take some cheesecake photos for a friend. Was looking for inspiration and found this awesome video
But hey they asked me to. I shot the band Dead Silos again. I shot some photos of the band back in May but shortly after, the drummer left and the photos became Wichita rock and roll history. I shot the band for the 2nd time about three weeks ago. I was nervous about it. The first set came out really good, I was impressed with myself and if you know me, this is a rare occurrence. So would lightning strike twice? Can I get good images out of myself and the guys again? Of course when I finally got all of my film developed (that’s a story for another time) I was anxious, excited, terrified to look at them. It was a bit of a roller coaster ride, one of those kiddie ones though. Some were pretty good, some were meh, none that I would say were WOW! I guess that’s just a part of the journey I’m on in building my skills and growing as a (i can’t even type it without pausing and taking a deep breath) photographer. I’m trying to be at peace with the outcome of each shoot, it is what it is and I need to focus on what I can learn from the experience. Instead of ‘i should have’ and I say “in this situation, I’ll do this’. Anyway these are a few of my favorite images from the shoot.
